Audit support services

Audit support is the preparation and testing work that sits behind an audit opinion: pulling client-prepared schedules together, tying figures to source, drafting testing workpapers, and documenting the trail an engagement team and its reviewers will follow. Sahana Global provides that support to CPA and accounting firms, prepared to Caseware standards and to the framework your auditors work in.

We do not sign opinions and we are not your auditor. We prepare the file so your engagement team spends its time on judgment rather than on assembling schedules.

What's included

The standing scope.

Who it's for

Where this fits.

This service suits firms whose audit calendar peaks harder than their headcount.

  • CPA and accounting firms carrying more engagements than staff in season.
  • Firms running non-profit, Yellow Book, corporate, or forensic engagements that need prepared workpapers.
  • Practices standardised on Caseware who want files that arrive review-ready.
  • Engagement partners who want offshore support handled inside professional confidentiality expectations.

How it works

How an engagement begins.

  1. Week 1

    Discovery

We learn your audit methodology, your Caseware templates, and your review points, then scope the support.

  2. Weeks 2-3

    Pilot engagement

A defined-scope trial on a live engagement or a recent one, so quality is proven before the season peaks.

  3. Ongoing

    Engagement support

A named team on your engagements through the cycle, with documentation your reviewers can follow.

Questions

Answered plainly.

The objections firms raise before the first call, without the sales gloss.

Does using offshore audit support create an independence or confidentiality problem?

We work as your firm's support staff, not as an independent party, and we hold no opinion on the financial statements. Every engagement runs under a signed NDA and engagement letter, access is least-privilege inside systems you own, and we keep no local copies. We follow your firm's professional-conduct and confidentiality rules rather than substitute our own.

Do you work to IFRS, ISA, and US GAAP?

Yes. Workpapers are prepared to the framework your auditors are working in, whether that is IFRS, ISA, US GAAP, Government Auditing Standards, or a local framework. Where a treatment is genuinely unsettled we flag it and document the reasoning rather than quietly pick a side.

How is audit support priced?

By project or by dedicated capacity through a cycle. We scope the engagements and volume with you and quote a fixed fee in writing, rather than billing by the hour, so the cost is known before the season starts.
